SPDSS12 - You Fill My Day With Color

Good morning everyone! We are starting a new sketch challenge today over on the SugarPea Designs Blog!



I used the sweet Teacher's Pet  stamp set.  This is one of my very favorite stamps (and if you scroll down you can see another card made with this set).  I colored it with copics and then added a few enamel dots.  Go grab your favorite stamps (we hope they're SugarPea Designs, but they don't have to be) and make a card to enter our challenge!  You may be the lucky person to win the shop gift certificate!



 

The rules are very simple…
  • Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided.
  • SugarPea Design stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated :)
  • You may rotate/flip the sketch & replace shapes – so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable 
  • Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword: SPDSS11 so that we may check out your beautiful work
  • Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz shown below.
  • One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe.  
  • However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $15!

You Fill My Day With Color

Good morning all!  I hope you're having a fabulous weekend so far.  Today I'm sharing a card using one of the newest releases from SugarPea Designs.




This image is from the Teacher's Pet stamp set and I absolutely love this set!  In addition to this adorable bear, there are lots of school accessories and fantastic sentiments too (see the photo below).  I colored this cutie with copics and colored pencils and used some colorful paper by Doodlebug Design.  Be sure to stop by the SugarPea Designs shoppe to check out the great selection of clear stamp sets.   Don't forget to stop by the SugarPea Designs Blog for lots of inspiration.  We also hold challenges so be sure to check them out while you're visiting the blog!

Time For Tea - Let's Take A Selfie

I'm so happy that it's Friday ... it's been a very long week and I didn't think the weekend would ever roll around!  So do you have lots of fun plans for your weekend?  We're suppose to have some great weather so it should be a fun weekend!  Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet digital image from the Time For Tea Designs shop. 




With so many people taking selfies with their phones these days, this image is just perfect!  This image is called Let's Take A Selfie.  I colored her with copics and used some fun papers from Simple Stories.  The little "bingo" cards were cut from the same paper pad, and then I added some washi and a few enamel dots to finish off my card.  Be sure to stop by the Time For Tea Designs etsy shop to check out all the adorable images.

7KCF & Whimsy Stamps

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for a post over on the 7KCF Blog.

This little cutie is Bud by Crissy Armstrong.  I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it with copics.  Then I used my colored pencils to add in the grass.  I think this bunny is so adorable and can be used for so many different types of cards.

By LORi Designs - Trick or Treat

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Today I'm sharing a Halloween card using an adorable ghost from By LORi Designs.


If you know me, then you know I absolutely LOVE making Halloween cards!  My daughter's birthday is on Halloween so I've always really enjoyed everything "Halloween-y"!  Anyway, I colored this cutie with copics and colored pencils and used some fun Doodlebug Design papers.  The little cobweb in the order is from a punch and then I added a few buttons.  Lori has the most adorable Halloween images so be sure to stop by her shop to check them out.

SPDSS11 - You Rule!

Good morning everyone!  So, did you have a fabulous weekend?  I spent most of mine doing some much needed housework - yuck!  But I did find time to whip up a card using one of the new SugarPea Designs stamp sets for the new sketch challenge that is starting today over on the SugarPea Designs Blog.



I used the sweet Teachers Pet  set to stamp this adorable bear.  I colored him with copics and then added a few enamel dots.  Go grab your favorite stamps (we hope they're SugarPea Designs, but they don't have to be) and make a card to enter our challenge!  You may be the lucky person to win the shop gift certificate!

SugarPea Designs' September Sweet Sneaks - Day 3
