You Are Spook-Tacular

Happy Halloween!  Today I'm sharing a fun Halloween card using a stamp set by Hello Bluebird

These cute Halloween critters, pumpkins, and candy are from the Spooky Spellers and Little Haunters stamp sets.  I colored the images with copics and used my ScanNCut to diecut them.  I sponged distress inks onto Bristol card to create the background, then I spattered white paint that I thinned with water.  I used the letters from the Spook Spellers set to personalize this card for my little granddaughter, Kora.  I used a black glaze pen on the critters' eyes and noses and used a white gel pen to add highlights to the pumpkins' eyes.  I adhered all the images with foam tape for some dimension.

Copics Used:
Fox - E09, YR18, YR14, YR12; C3, C1; E01, E00, E000

Let's Be Merry

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on The Greeting Farm Blog.

These images are from The More The Merrier stamp set, which was part of our November release.  They make such cute and fun Christmas cards!  I colored the images with copics and ran them through my ScanNCut to diecut them.  For the background, I sponged distress inks onto Bristol card and then spattered some white acrylic paint that I thinned with water.  I diecut a snowy slope and adhered it with foam tape.  I applied some green watercolors to watercolor paper and once dry, I diecut the two trees which I also adhered with foam tape.  I adhered the bear, bird, and gifts to my card and then added a few diecut stars to the night scene.

Copics Used:
Bear - E35, E33, E31, E30; E42, E41, E40
Clothes - YG17, YG13, YG01; B29, B28, B24, B21

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Create A Smile Challenge - Sketch

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a sketch challenge and it's super easy!  I stamped images from the To The Moon stamp set, used my ScanNCut to cut them, and colored them with copics.  I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze over the astronaut's mask to make it shine.  I sponged Chipped Sapphire onto Bristol card and spattered white acrylic paint that I thinned with water.  I adhered the planets and then placed a circle frame over them using foam tape for dimension.  I added the sentiment and astronaut and that finished my card.

I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.  The winner will receive a gift card to the CAS shop.  You can find all the details over on the Create A Smile Blog

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs & Kisses

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on the LDRS Inspiration Blog

I used the Holly - Watch It Grow stamp for this card.  I stamped the image with Raven Hybrid Ink onto white cardstock and colored it with copics.  I diecut the image panel using a die from the Scalloped Rectangle Frame Set.  The sentiment is from the Cherry Blossoms Stamps and I stamped it using Raven Hybrid Ink.

I cut a piece of pattern paper from the Sweet Sensations 6x6 Paper to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered it to my card.  I adhered the scalloped panel to my card using foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful week!

Merry Christmouse

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a winter card featuring stamps and a fun die from Sunny Studio Stamps.

I'm a sucker for snowmen and when I saw the little snow mouse in the Merry Mice Stamps I knew I had to have this stamp set.  The little mice in this set are so adorable!  I colored the images with copics and used my ScanNCut to diecut them.  I used a black glaze pen on the eyes and buttons of the snow mouse.  I used the Sliding Window Die to create my card.  I sponged distress inks on the front panel and then adhered a diecut snowbank.

I adhered the trees directly to the panel and then used foam tape to adhere the snow mouse and gift.  I also added a snowflake with a pearl to the front of the card.  The magic, of course, is when you slide the panel open ... and you have a little mouse peeking over the edge of the card!

So fun and cute!  Once you get the hang of how the slider works, the card is really easy to create.  I'm sure you'll be seeing more of these sliders in the future!

Copics Used:
Snow Mouse - BG20, BG70
Cheese - Y38, Y19, Y15, Y13; E25
Bow - R59, R37, R35

LDRS Creative Feature Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello everyone and welcome to our Fall and Halloween Feature!

For the next two days, the Design Team has created gorgeous projects to inspire you with the latest Fall collection that is now available in a local craft store near you!

We are talking about...

Some amazing Halloween High Jinks Stamps (cut out in no time with the coordinating die set), Happy Haunting Stamps (with a perfect coordinating die set here), and one of the new Petal Pusher sets, Pick of the Patch (and its die set)!

We also continued adding to our wonderful Basic dies line: In the Breeze Die SetDown Main Street Die, and Over the Hills Die. Not to forget Up a Tree Die SetGarden Gateway Die SetGarden Wreath Die Set. They fit with all of our products, so don't miss out on them!

People have been amazed by the thickness of the brand new Fall 6x6 paperpack, Sweater Weather - 6x6 Paper. How GORGEOUS is it?!

And of course, a brand new all-in-one stencil called A Walk in the Park - 6x6 Stencil!

Hop around this short hop to see all the beautiful creations and new techniques used on them!
I used the Woodland Wonderland Stamps for my card today.  I recently started making slimline cards to create scenes.  It's so easy to incorporate lots of images from a stamp set with the slimline cards because you have lots of room!  I sponged the base of my card with inks.  I stamped the images using Raven Hybrid Ink and colored them using my alcohol markers.  I diecut the images using the Woodland Wonderland Die Set and adhered them to my card using foam tape.

Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas projects, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I decided to make some gift tags this month ... you can never have too many, right?  The snowmen are from Avery Elle's Snow Fun stamp set.  I colored the snowmen with copics and diecut them using the coordinating dies. I used the Square Window Tag Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti to make shaker tags!     I diecut the tags from white cardstock and adhered colorful pink, green, and blue paper to the back of the tags.  I assembled the shakers and then adhered the snowmen to the front of the tags.  I added a diecut snowflake and then placed a small pearl in the center of each flake.  I added some white ribbon, gold cording, and a gold jingle bell to finish my tags.

Be sure to hop along to visit each of the blogs.  There's tons of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!
