Have A Sunshiny Birthday

Good afternoon!  Today I'm sharing a card using I made for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

I love this image from the BB Drink Up The Sunshine stamp set - she's so adorable, right?  I followed the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #447 for my design.  I sponged Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch distress inks onto waves that I cut from Bristol card.  I used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Peacock Feathers distress ink to create the cloudy sky.  I colored the sweet girl and her tube with copics, diecut it, and then used a black glaze pen on her eyes.  I diecut the sun from a very old MFT die-namic that has been discontinued.  I adhered the little girl with foam tape for dimension.

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on The Greeting Farm Blog.

I used the Miss Anya Samoyed stamp set from our July release.  After cutting out Anya, I colored her with copics.  I diecut a stitched rectangle and used distress inks and a stencil to create the base of my card.  I adhered Anya with foam tape and added a few sparkly embellishments.

Create A Smile Challenge

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

 

 

Our new challenge is a mood board.  I love mood board challenges because you can interpret them any way you want!  I used the Best Bugs stamp set - so many sweet images in this set!  I sponged distress oxide inks onto white cardstock to create the ground and clouds.  I stamped the images, diecut them with my Scan N Cut, then colored them with copics.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the flowers.  I added some Glamour Dust to the little bee wings to make them sparkle.

Flowers - R66, R55, R52; Y38, Y19, Y15, Y11; YG17, YG03, YG01

It's A Beautiful Day

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on the LDRS Inspiration Blog. 

 

 

I used images from the Spot On and Thank Ewe stamp sets.  Don't be afraid to mix and match your stamps sets!  I stamped the images with Raven Hybrid Ink onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, and then used my Scan N Cut to cut them out.  I diecut the scalloped panel using one of the dies from the Scalloped Rectangle Frame Set and then diecut an oval using the Practically Oval Frame Set.  I sponged Bali Blue Hybrid Ink onto the front of my card and then adhered the frame using foam tape.  I also adhered all the images with foam tape.  I diecut the sun and cloud using the Here Comes The Sun and In A Cloudy Sky dies.  I inked the edges of the sun and cloud and adhered them to my card.    

 

 

 

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the Mini Winnie Let's Go stamp set and adhered it my card.

The Greeting Farm - July Release & Blog Hop

It’s the 15th, and the JULY Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store. We are so excited to introduce 4 new stamps this month! Our first set, called TAKE A HIKE features the cutest couple ready to go on summer adventures. Our 2nd set called MISS ANYA SAMOYED features some fabulous big Anyas and an adorable Samoyed dog. Next, we have SLUMBER PARTY with 3 girls all ready for their sleepover. And lastly, we have a new sentiment set called THIS DAY, perfect for those planner and calendar pages.

 

 

 

I used the Take A Hike stamp set to make today's card.  I created the background by stenciling clouds and then I used copics to add the trail and grassy area.  I diecut a square from a piece of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment below the window.  I placed this over the outdoor scene using foam tape, and then adhered the hiking couple with foam tape too.

The Greeting Farm - July Previews Day 4

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of The Greeting Farm previews of the July release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new This Day stamp set.

This set has stamps for every day of the week, along with some all-occasion sentiments.  I'm always looking for great sentiments to use on my cards and this stamp set is perfect!  I sponged some distress oxide ink onto Neenah cardstock and then added some patterned paper along the side.  I stamped an image from the new Miss Anya Samoyed stamp set, colored it with copics, and adhered it to my card with foam tape.  I also used foam tape for the sentiment flag and added a small heart.

The Greeting Farm - July Previews Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of The Greeting Farm previews of the July release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Slumber stamp set.

How cute are these little gals in their sleeping bags?  This stamp set would be perfect for making slumber party invitations too!  I stamped and heat embossed some stars onto Bristol card and then sponged on distress inks to create a "starry sky". I colored the images with copics and adhered them with foam tape.

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a sketch.  I love sketch challenges and I hope you do too!  I used stamps from the Easter Tweetings stamp set.  I had so much fun designing Easter cards with this set and was happy to be able to adapt it to create an easy birthday card.  I sponged distress oxide inks onto Bristol card and flicked water from a paintbrush.  Once the Bristol was dry, I diecut some circles and a flag for my sentiment.  I stamped the images, diecut them with my Scan N Cut, then colored them with copics.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the gifts and flower.  Lastly, I added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle.

This new stamp set includes 3 Anyas!  I sponged some distress ink onto white cardstock for my background.  I colored Anya with copics and adhered her with foam tape for dimension.  I also added a few sequins because Anya always needs some sparkle in her life!
