Birthday Wishes
Good morning friends! Today I'm sharing a birthday card featuring a cute hippo from Tracey Hey
This cute hippo is from the Rhino Rascals stamp set. My card measures 5" x 5". I cut a piece of striped paper, adhered it to the front of my card, and wrapped it with black twine. Next I diecut a large heart from bristol card, sponged it with Wilted Violet Distress Ink, and spattered it with water. Once dry, I adhered it to my card with foam tape. I colored the hippo with copics and fussy-cut him. I adhered him to the heart and added some clear baubles to finish my card.
Copics:
Hippo - W5, W3, W2, W1, W0; E01, E00, E000
Shirt - C3, C1; BV09, BV17, BV15, BV12

You Make My Heart Go Wild
Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! I'm sharing a Valentine I made featuring a stamp by Penny Black.
This adorable stamp is Hot Pants. It's a wood mounted stamp that I've had for many years and I think this may be the first time it's ever seen ink! I inked the stamp onto a stitched rectangle diecut from Neenah cardstock. I masked the hedgehog and balloon and inked the background lightly with Spun Sugar and Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Inks. I colored the stamped image with Copics. I used a black glaze pen on the eyes and I applied Wink of Stella Clear Glitter on the hearts on his shorts and the balloon. The pattern paper is some I pulled from my stash and the heart banner is a die by C.C. Designs.
Copics:
Hedgehog - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000; R20, R00; E29, E25, E23, E21
Shorts - C3, C1; R29, R27, R24
Balloon - R29, R27, R24
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Guess Who Thinks You're Special?
Good morning everyone! Today I'm sharing a card using an adorable digital image from Polkadoodles.
This cute image is called Snowmen Frosty Hugs Too Cute. This shop has the sweetest images and I fell in love with several of their snowmen digis. I sponged my card base with distress ink and then spattered it with both white and blue watercolor paints.
I printed the image on Neenah cardstock, fussy cut it, and colored it with Copics. I added some Glamour Dust to the cuff of the hat and the little pom-poms on the top of the hat. I diecut a few tiny hearts and colored them with copics to match the snowgirl's hat and scarf.
Copics:
Snowmen - BV20, BG70; R20, R00; E33, YR68, YR04, YR02; E25
Hat/Scarves/Mittens - R22, R20, R00; B000; G02, G00, G0000
I'm entering my card in the Polkadoodles Craft Challenge Wk 7 for Anything Goes.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Birthday
Good morning! I'm popping on to share a birthday card today.
This is an image that I colored many years ago but never made into a card. It was colored with Prismacolor colored pencils, long before I discovered and fell in love with Copic markers. I need to build up my stash of birthday cards so I thought it was time to put these sweet animals on a card. I'm pretty sure this is a Penny Black stamp ... a wood mounted stamp at that lol! While it may be an older image I still think it's sweet and hopefully the recipient will enjoy it.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hey There, Valentine
Good morning everyone! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy Valentine card featuring a cute critter by Reverse Confetti.
This adorable bear is from the Heart Pals stamp set. I colored the little bear with copics and fussy cut him. I used a black glaze pen on his eyes and nose and I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on his heart. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I heat embossed it, cut it into a strip and adhered it to the tag. The fun pattern paper and tag are from the Sweet Talk Collection by Simple Stories. All I had to do was diecut the diagonal plaid paper with a stitched rectangle die and apply it to my card. The preprinted tags are part of the collection so I just had to cut it from the 12 x 12 sheet. I added some black twine to the tag and applied fun foam behind it for dimension. I also adhered the bear with foam tape. The tiny hearts are diecut from the pattern paper and glued directly onto the tag. I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the hearts for some shine.
Copics:
Bear - E57, E55, E53, E51, E50; N8; E02, E00
Shirt - BG13, BG11, BG10
Heart - R29, R27, R24, R22
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

For Someone Very Special
Good morning friends! Today I'm sharing a card I made for a sweet person I "met" through cardmaking.
This cute image is from the Hey Cutie stamp set by Tracey Hey. If you're not familiar with her work do stop by her shop and check out her adorable stamp sets! I found a scrap of striped paper in my stash, diecut a black scallop, and adhered it to my card. Next, I sponged Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink onto bristol card and diecut a large heart that I spattered with water. I colored the little mouse with copics and fussy cut her. I adhered her to the heart with foam tape. I also diecut a few tiny hearts from the sponged bristol and added them to my card. I heat-embossed the sentiment, diecut it with a flag die, and adhered it to the card.
Copics:
Mouse - W5, W3, W2, W1, W0; R32, R30; E02, E00, E000
Shirt - C3, C1; RV09, RV06, RV04

I sponged around the penguins with Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks and then spattered it with both white and dark blue watercolor inks. I used a black glaze pen on the penguin and chick eyes.
