Mistletoe Fairy

I've really been trying to work ahead on my holiday cards this year.  So I'm back with another Christmas card to share with you.

This sweet little fairy is Ava Christmas - Mistletoe Fairy by Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  I love the Bugaboo images and I think this fairy is so cute.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils, and then I used Glossy Accents on the holly berries.  I applied Creative Inspirations' Resplendence Angel Dust Glitter on her wings for a beautiful sparkle.  I added a bow, flower, and some pearls and my card was finished.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Holiday Greetings

Happy Tuesday friends.  I've been working on my Christmas card stash for this year so I have another Christmas card to share today.

This adorable image is Reindeer Sally by Sassy Cheryl's Digis.  I've actually had this image for quite awhile but just got around to coloring her.  I think she's just the cutest!  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I used Creative Inspirations products to add lots of sparkle to my card.  I applied Resplendence Regal Red Fine Glitter to the ornament she's holding in her hand, and Resplendence Angel Dust Fine Glitter on the ornament and snowflake diecut embellishments.  I used their Deliquesce Fine Black embossing powder on the sentiment.

Creative Inspirations also carries beautiful paints and their paints are on sale for 10% off for the month of August.  OK, one more holiday card completed ... and I don't even want to think about how many more I need ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Good morning everyone!  Today I've used a Sassy Cheryl image on my card.

This little cutie patootie is Sassy Sally's Butterfly.  Oh, I just love that sweet expression on her face.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I wanted some sparkle on the butterflies so I used Resplendence Angel Dust Glitter by Creative Inspirations Paints.  If you click on the picture, it will give you a closeup and I'm sure you can see the beautiful sparkle of this glitter.  The little tag and sentiment are from the My Favorite Things Notch Tag set.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Lemonade Anyone?

** You can find my birthday candy here **

Good morning friends.  Today I've used an older Penny Black stamp for my card.

This image is called Make Lemonade and I couldn't find the stamp on their website so I think maybe it's been discontinued.  I'm not usually a fan of mice but I have to say that I think these two are adorable.  Penny Black always has some of the cutest critter stamps.  I colored this image with copics and colored pencils and then used Creative Inspirations Paints to paint the glass of lemonade.  I used Sunshine and Mello Yellow for the lemonade and then painted a coat of Fairy Dust over the entire glass.  Although you can't really see it in this picture, the paints give the glass a cold, frosty look.  I added some ribbon and a few buttons.  The sentiment is from the AmyR Sweet Sentiments stamp set and you can find that set at All That Scraps.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

A Sparkly Bubble Bath

Good morning sweet stamping friends.  Today I'm sharing a card with an adorable Lili of the Valley image.

Isn't this bunny couple just the cutest?  I won this stamp in a giveaway that sweet Elaine had.  I adore Lili of the Valley images and I know they just came out with a new release.  I haven't even been to their website to check it out because I know I'm going to want way too many of them :)  I'm trying to be good and use my stamps that have never seen ink.  OK, so on to my card.  I used copics and colored pencils.  I added Creative Inspirations Paints to the champagne and water to give them some sparkle.  And do you see that flower?  I made that with the My Favorite Things Loopy Bloom Die-namic.  I've had that die for the longest time but hadn't used it.  I have to say I love the big soft flowers that it makes ... kinda reminds me of a bunny tail too.

Creative Inspirations Paints also has a challenge blog and you can get all the details here.  You have a chance to win some of their fabulous paints if you play along in the challenges.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day!

Amy's Kitty

Good morning friends.  I have a card with one of Sylvia Zet's digi images called Amy's Kitty.  I love Sylvia's images and this kitty has the sweetest look on her face ;)

I've colored this image with copics and colored pencils.  Then I painted Creative Inspirations Paints on the balloons.  These paints give a pearlescent shimmer and they don't smear digis.  I always had to be really careful when applying Stickles because they would really smear the black ink from my printer, but that's not a problem with these paints.  I also applied the paints to the butterflies and the flowers in the image.  Some ribbon, a bow, and pearls finished my card.

Here's a close-up so that you can see the sparkle the paint adds to the image.  You may want to stop by the Creative Inspirations Paint Blog to check out our latest challenge - the inspiration theme is rainbows/rainbow colors.  You can find all the details over on the blog.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

You Make Me Hoppy

Hello friends.  I have a new card today using Creative Inspirations Paints.

This little cutie is Tulip Bunny by Sweet Stamps.  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and added some Liquid Applique to his tail.  I painted the tulip with Mellow Yellow and Buttercup paints.  These paints add such a soft, pearlescent shimmer to your projects.  Some pearls and a bow finished my card.

Spring Flowers

I hope you're enjoying your weekend.  Our weather hasn't been very nice here ... rain, rain and more rain.  But all that rain will eventually bring some lovely spring flowers, right?

Speaking of spring flowers, I picked up this cute little Flower Pot 1 over at Bugaboo Stamps.  This image is so easy to color and I thought it would be perfect for those little cards you sometimes need to put together quickly.  I used copics and colored pencils to color the image.  I added some Creative Inspirations Paint to the flower petals and centers.  I used Blush and Tutu Pink on the petals, and Sunshine on the centers.  These paints add such a pretty pearlescent shimmer to the flowers but unfortunately I can't seem to capture that with my camera.  I paper-pieced the flower pot and then added some shading to it.  We also have a new challenge for you over on the Creative Inspirations Blog.  Our theme this week is Spring and I hope you can join us.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

You Can Count On Me

Happy Tuesday!  I have a project to share today using Creative Inspirations Paint.

This little girl is Lollipop Girl by Whimsie Doodles.  Isn't she adorable?  As soon as I saw her I knew I had to have her ... and the sentiment comes with the image.  And really, don't the two just go together perfectly lol?  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I used Creative Inspirations paints to give some shimmer to the colors.  These paints are thick and creamy and they dry so quickly.  You don't have to worry about smudging them like you do when you use Stickles.  I used the color Tutu Pink on the lollipop and little heart on her dress, Plum on the button, and Fairy Dust on the dress ruffle.  I cut her out and popped her up on dimensionals and added a few buttons to finish my card.

Creative Inspirations Paint also has a weekly challenge and you can find all the details here

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
