Simply Sassy Release Blog Hop
We have 6 new Simply Sassy stamps to show you. In order to see all of these gorgeous stamps you'll need to stop at each of the DT blogs and leave a comment.
Each DT member has two stamps to give to a lucky winner. You need to leave a comment by Monday, Febuary 28, 12 noon GMT (that's 7:00 a.m. EST my time). I will draw a winner from those that leave a comment and I'll post the winner here on my blog (Monday) by 7 pm GMT (2:00 pm EST). You will have until the end of the day on Wednesday, March 2, to contact me with your address. My email is located in my sidebar. Please put "Simply Sassy winner" in the subject line so that I don't accidently delete your message.
I used Tammy on my card ... isn't she adorable with those big glasses and her sweet little snowman friend? I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added some Glamour Dust to the pom poms on her hat and her scarf. I used tiny little pearls for the buttons on her coat and added some Glossy Accents to the buttons on her legwarmers. I used my Martha Stewart snowflake border punch and also added a bow. I punched various size snowflakes, layered them, and then added a little pearl to the center of each one. I also used Glamour Dust on the snowflakes, the snowman, and the snow on the ground.
You should have arrived here from Kathrin's blog and next you'll want to visit Tracy's blog. Here's the blog hop order in case you get lost along the way.

Feel Better
Happy Friday to all of you. It's finally here ... Friday, that one day that we all look forward to each week. I found a cute freebie image over at Bugaboo Stamps this week and decided to make my card using him.
This little guy is named Itchy Dog Bowl. Isn't he adorable? I colored him using copics and colored pencils. I added Glossy Accents to his nose, the pads of his feet, and also to the food bowl. I just picked up this Maraschino twine (by The Twinery) at my LSS, Simply Scrapbooks (thank you Vicki, I love all the colors you stocked!). I added a few buttons to finish my card.
The Simply Sassy Design Team is having a blog hop tomorrow so be sure you stop by. We'll be showing all the new images from the Simply Sassy Set 5 and of course there will be prizes you can win.

Meljen's Challenge
Hello everyone! Today is Thursday and that means it's time for a new challenge over on the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog. Our challenge this week is to make an ATC (Artist Trading Card). The only "rule" for an ATC is the size, which is 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches.
I have to tell you this is the first ATC I have ever made. I usually make larger cards so working on something this small was no easy task for me. I used Meljen's Designs' Noah's Ark, Noah's Loving Elephants, and Noah's Loving Lions on my ATC. Given the size of this ATC, you can image how small those elephants and lions are. Wow, I thought I was going to go blind trying to color and then cut out those tiny babies lol! Anyway, I colored my images with copics and colored pencils and cut everything out. I die cut a scalloped oval nestie and stippled along the top of it to make my clouds. Then it was simply a matter of layering all my images. No frills, stickles, ribbon, lace or Glamour Dust ... do you know how hard this was for me?
Here's Melissa's newest release and you can find these adorable images at Whimsy Stamps. Don't forget to stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to see what the rest of the talented DT have created and I hope you find the time to join in our challenge this week.
Thanks for stopping by.
I'm entering my ATC in these challenges:
Allsorts Week 91 - Inspired by Nature

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 47 - Photo Inspiration
Stamps: Meljen's Designs Noah's Ark, Noah's Loving Elephants, Noah's Loving Lions

Simply Sassy Sneak Peak
Hello friends. I have a little sneak peak for you. Sugar Nellie will soon be releasing Set 5 of the Simply Sassy images and I'm going to show you one of the new images today.
The name of the image I've used on my card is Star Dust Isn't she beautiful with that head full of gorgeous curls? I colored her with copics and colored pencils and I distressed and stitched all my papers. I added Glamour Dust to the flowers on her dress and socks, and also to the star dust she's sprinkling around. I added some lace, pearls, a little rose and a felt flower. I made this card for a friend's teenage daughter and I think she'll love the Star Dust image.
The Simply Sassy Design Team is sharing sneak peaks of all the new images this week and you can see them all here. We're also having a Blog Hop over on the Simply Sassy Design Team Blog. It starts this Saturday at 12 Noon GMT and we will have prizes so you won't want to miss it. You can find all the Simply Sassy images at Funky Kits.

Totally Ladybug Tuesday's Blog Hop
Are you ready for some fun? It's Tuesday so that means it's Totally Ladybug Tuesday, and this week the ladybugs are celebrating with a Blog Hop. Kerry has a new set of stamps and just wait until you see them. They are soooo cute! They're called the BFFs and each one of the four images is super adorable.
Our lovely guest designer, Domi, chose our theme for our challenge this week and she chose this recipe: 3 flowers, 2 papers, and 1 image. I used Phoebe on my card today. I colored her with copics and colored pencils. I cut her out and popped her up on embossed cardstock. I added a little bow in the corner.
OK, enough about my card, let's get to the fun stuff. Let's talk about the Blog Hop. If you haven't already done so, grab our Blog Hop banner from my sidebar and post it on your blog. You'll need to visit each blog to leave a comment and collect a number. After you've visited everyone in the hop, stop by the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog to finish the hop. One person will win the entire release and four people will each win one stamp. You also have a chance to win if you enter our challenge this week. All the details are posted here. The hop closes at 9am GMT on Monday, February 28 and the winners will be announced on our challenge blog at 9 am GMT Tuesday, March 1.
You should have come from Sue's blog and now you need to hop over to Domi's blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the full list here. The number I'm sharing is 2.

Big Hugs
Hello peeps! I hope you're having a fantastic Monday ... I know, if you work then Mondays probably aren't your favorite day. But if you're a SAHM then you probably love Mondays ... shove those kiddies out the door and back to school lol!
Don't these birdies look like they're soooo in love? Some close friends of ours will be celebrating their wedding anniversary at the end of this month and I thought this would make a cute anniversary card for them. The image is Birds Couple by The Paper Shelter. I colored these cuties with copics and colored pencils and added some Glossy Accents to their beaks and claws. I used stickles on the heart and the little flowers in the tree. I've added some flowers with little tiny buttons and some ribbon with a bow. My sentiment is computer-generated.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow as Ladybug Crafts Ink will be having a blog hop to celebrate a new stamp release. There will be prizes so you don't want to miss it!
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Think Spring
Hello everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was pretty nice ... except for the weather. Yesterday was cold and windy but at least the sun was out. Today it's cold and raining ... a dark and dreary day. Sounds like a perfect day to stay inside and make cards, right?
Yesterday when I was surfing the blogs and challenges, I ran across a sketch from The Sweet Stop Challenge Blog that I liked. Their challenge is a sketch with a spin ... Think Spring! Believe me, with all the nasty weather we've had this winter, spring is constantly on my mind these days. And I had the perfect image for their challenge, too. I used Meljen's Designs Swirly Daisy Pot on my card today. Doesn't it make you think of spring? I colored my image with copics and colored pencils and added some stickles to the center of the flowers. I punched out a little butterfly and added some tiny pearls. And then I tied some embroidery floss bows through my buttons and added those to my card. A very clean and simple card.
Don't forget to stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenge and Inspiration Blog to check out Melissa's latest release. You'll also find all the details about the latest card challenge.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Simply Sassy Bella Bunting
(Please scroll down to see my post for The Stamping Bazaar)
Good evening peeps! I hope you had a wonderful day. Only two more days until the weekend ... yeah! I have another Simply Sassy card to share with you today.
This is Bella Bunting. Isn't she just the cutest? I know, I say that about all the Simply Sassy images but they are all just so adorable! I thought I would follow Marlene's sketch over at the The Sugar Bowl this week. I needed to cut my image out in order to get it to properly fit in this sketch. Now, I don't know about you but cutting out my images makes me a little nervous. After spending all that time coloring my image, I'm always afraid I'm going to cut off an important part of the image ... like an arm or a leg lol! But I managed to get this one cut without harming this little cutie.
Bella Bunting is colored with copics and colored pencils. My papers are by Crate Paper and I've used a doily on my cardstock. I added some punched flowers, greenery and a little bow. You can find Bella Bunting and all her Simply Sassy friends at Funky Kits. And, you can find all kinds of Simply Sassy inspiration over at the Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Design Team Inspiration Blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.

A Special Guest at The Stamping Bazaar
Good morning friends. I was recently asked if I would be a special guest designer over at The Stamping Bazaar Challenge Blog this week. Well, of course I said yes!
I used Susie with Pie on my card today. She's the most adorable little kangaroo I've ever seen. OK, so maybe I haven't seen a whole lot of kangaroos, but you've got to admit she's a real cutie. I colored Susie with my copics and colored pencils. I used my EK Success punches for the flowers and added a little pearl in each of them. I used Martha Stewart punches for the border and also for the corner of the card. The sentiment is from PTI.
Be sure you stop by The Stamping Bazaar Challenge Blog to find out all details about their challenge this week. You can find Susie and all their other fantastic stamps in the The Stamping Bazaar Store.
Thank you for stopping by. Please stop by later today as I have another card I'll be posting.

Anything But A Card
Happy Tuesday to all of you. Today is Totally Ladybug Tuesday and that means we have a new challenge for you over at the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog. Our lovely Mary J chose the theme this week and she asked that we make anything but a card. I recently learned my niece is expecting her first baby so I decided to make a gift card holder so that I can give her a little something. It's been a very long time but I can still remember how excited I was to start shopping for baby things. Well, I guess it hasn't been that long ago after all ... because I was just as bad about shopping for my first grandchild lol!
I used an image from the Baby Baby set for my gift card holder. I colored the image with copics and colored pencils and used my Stardust pen on the zipper pull. I cut out my image and matting layers with my Nestabilities. I've included the dimensions in case you would like to make one of these holders. They're super easy.
Cut your cardstock 4 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches and score at 3 1/2 and 7 inches. Cut the last portion of the holder at an angle. Decorate the holder as you like. The belly band is 1 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. Wrap the belly band around the holder and adhere the ends. If you are decorating with additional paper on the inside of the holder, wrap your belly band after all your paper layers have been adhered. Be sure to leave a little "wiggle" room so the belly band isn't too tight. I adhered my image over the overlapping ends of the belly band so that they're not seen.
Be sure to apply some adhesive along the bottom edge of the angle-cut portion so that it will adhere to the middle portion of the holder. That way your gift card can't slip out of the bottom of the holder.
Please stop by the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog so you can check out all the amazing projects by the rest of the talented DT. I hope you find time to play along in our challenge this week.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Simply Sassy
Hello friends! Today is my first post as a guest DT for the Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Design Team Inspiration Blog.
I used Hippie Chick on my card today. She was actually the very first Simply Sassy image I saw and I immediately fell in love with her. I mean, how could you resist, right? I used copics and colored pencils to color the image. I added StarDust Stickles to some of the flowers in her hair and added tiny little pearls to the blue flowers in her hair. I've used Glossy Accents on her lips but I don't think it really shows in the picture. All of my papers are stitched and distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink. I added some crocheted lace to my card and also used that to make a flower embellishment. I added a pearl button to the flower and placed smaller pearls on my punched flowers and the butterfly. You can find Hippie Chick and all of the gorgeous Simply Sassy stamps over at Funky Kits.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
I'm entering my card in these challenges:

Totally Ladybug Tuesday
It's a Totally Ladybug Tuesday which can only mean one thing ... we have a new challenge posted for you over at the Ladybug Crafts Challenge Blog. Our lovely Hayley chose the challenge this week and the theme she asked us to use is ... Love is in the Air.
I used Nikki and Ben Under the Mistletoe for my card today. I love it when I can use stamps for more than their intended purpose. By simply masking off the mistletoe, this stamp makes a perfect image for a Valentine's Day card. I used copics and colored pencils to color my image. I added a little stickles to the flower on Nikki's hat and used my Stardust pen on Ben's watch for some sparkle. I outlined my heart sentiment with Glamour Dust. I used some white crocheted lace and a little red heart-shaped button to finish my card.
Please be sure you visit the Ladybug Crafts Challenge Blog to see the beautiful projects the rest of the DT created. I hope you find some time this week to play along with us in our challenge.

Totally Ladybug Tuesday
Happy Tuesday to all of you. We have a new challenge for you over at the Ladybug Crafts Ink Totally Ladybug Challenge Blog. Our lovely Pinky chose the theme this week and she asked that we make a card for a child.
I used Football Jack for my card today. Yes, for those of us on this side of the big pond, we would call this Soccer Jack. But Ladybug Crafts Ink is in Scotland and so this is Football Jack. Isn't he a cutie? My 5 year old grandson plays soccer so this image reminds me of him. Of course, I use the word "plays" loosely. At 5 years old, I think they are there more to socialize with their friends, get a treat when the game is over, and collect a trophy at the end of the season lol!
Anyway, enough blabbering, I used my copics and colored pencils to color Jack. I used my Basic Grey Max and Whiskers paper for this card ... yes, another pad I've been hoarding ... but I am getting better at using my papers, I promise! Since this card is for a boy, I've kept my embellishments to a minimum. That's so hard for me because I love the glitter, ribbon, flowers and all the glitz! So anyway, just a button with a little twine bow for an embellishment. For my layout, I used a sketch I saw over on the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog awhile back. I really liked this layout, especially for a male card. I have a hard time with cards for boys and men, so it was nice to have a starting point for this card.
Be sure you stop by the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog to check out the beautiful work by my Ladybug teamies. I hope you find the time to enter our challenge this week.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
