Paperie Ink - Warm Wishes For A Cool Friend

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a sweet card using a stamp set from the Paperie Ink etsy shop!

These sweet little bunnies are from the Happy Holi-yay stamp set.  This stamp set has lots of cute ice-skating critters and fun accessories so you can build a scene!  The houses are from the Skating Friends stamp set.  I stamped the images, diecut them using my ScanNCut, and colored them with copics.  I diecut some snow banks, sponged the edges with distress ink, and added some Glamour Dust Glitter for some sparkle.  I sponged distress oxide ink onto Bristol card and spattered some clean water.  Once dry, I spattered the sky with thinned white acrylic paint.  I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the Christmas light garland.  I adhered the snow banks and images using foam tape so it would have some dimension.  Stop by and check out the Paperie Ink Etsy Shop because she has lots of adorable stamp sets!

Copics Used:
Bunnies - E31, E30, E50, R20; E01, E00, E000
Scarves - BG13, BG11, BG10; R32, R30, R00
Houses - B02, B01, B000; E02, E01, E000; C3, C1
Trees - G02, G00, G0000
Christmas Lights - R32, R30, R00; BG13, BG11, BG10; E02, E01, E000; B02, B01, B000

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Sketch

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a sketch so I hope you play along.  I used the From My Nest stamp set for my card today.  I stamped the winter bird, colored it with copics, and fussy-cut her.  I diecut a snowy slope and inked it with distress inks.  I also inked some Bristol card to create the winter sky.  I spattered some clean water and thinned acrylic paint to make it appear as though it's snowing.  I used a white gel pen to add polka dots to the scarf and I also added a few clear sequins to give my card some sparkle.

Copics Used:
Bird - E33, E31, E30, E50, R20
Hat/Scarf - R59, R37, R32; YG17, YG13, YG01; B29, B26, B24

I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.  The winner will receive a gift card to the CAS shop.  You can find all the details over on the Create A Smile Blog

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Paperie Ink - Season's Greetings

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a sweet card using a stamp set from the Paperie Ink etsy shop!

These cute images are from the Skating Friends stamp set.  This set includes three sweet ice-skating kiddos, along with accessories and the sentiment you see here on my card.  I stamped the images, diecut them using my ScanNCut, and colored them with copics.  I used a black glaze pen on the girl's buttons and I used a white gel pen to add some polka-dots to her hat.    I sponged distress oxide inks onto Bristol card to create the icy pond and night sky.  I spattered clean water and white acrylic paint to create a snowy background.  Once dry, I added some clear sequins and stars to give my card a bit of sparkle.  Stop by and check out the Paperie Ink Etsy Shop because she has some super cute stamps sets in her shop!

Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas projects, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I decided to make more gift tags this month!  These cute little snowmen and trees are from the Hello Bluebird Frosty Littles stamps.  I colored them with copics and then diecut them using my ScanNCut.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and a white gel pen to add some polka dots to their hats.  I used Lawn Fawn's Ready, Set, Snow stamps and dies to create the snowglobe tag.  I sponged distress oxide inks and spattered thinned white acrylic paint to create the snowy sky.  The base of the snowglobe is colored with copics also.  I added some gold cording to the tags so they can easily attached to packages.

Be sure to hop along to visit each of the blogs.  There's tons of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

Warm Wishes

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on the LDRS Inspiration Blog

This card came together so quickly!  It's super easy so you can mass-produce a bunch of these to add to your Christmas card stash!  I used Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp the penguin from the Frozen Fun stamps.  I colored it with copics and then diecut it using the coordinating Frozen Fun Die Set.  I diecut a scalloped circle using one of the dies from the Scalloped Circle Frame Set.  I again used Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp a sentiment from the Cardinal Seasons - Petal Pusher Stamps onto the scalloped circle.

I cut a piece of design paper from the Christmas Cottage 6x6 Paper to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered it to my card.  I used foam tape to adhere the penguin to the scalloped circle and then adhered the circle to my card.  A super easy card but I think it turned out really cute!
