Snowmen Make Winter Bright

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made using an adorable stamp set from C.C. Designs.

This cute snow couple is from the Build A Snowman stamp set.  I started my card by sponging distress ink onto the card.  I diecut a snowdrift and sponged a little ink onto the top of the drift also.  I diecut a scalloped rectangle frame and adhered the frame and the snowdrift using foam tape.  I colored the snow people and their outfits with copics and then I fussy cut them.  I used a black glaze pen on the snow peep's eyes and I added the polka-dots using a white gel pen.  I adhered the snow couple and snowflakes using foam tape for dimension.  I'm entering my card in the C.C. Designs January Challenge.  Their challenge this month is to create a card using pink, red, and black.

Copics Used:
Snow Couple - BV20, BG70
Noses - YR07, YR04, YR02
Branches/Arms - E31
His Hat - C7, C5, C3; R59, R37, R14; R85, R83, R81
Scarf - R59, R37, R14
Her Hat - C3, C1, Colorless Blender; R85, R83, R81
Dress - R85, R83, R81; R59, R37, R14

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a great day.

I love the colors and patterns in this paper pad!  I added a few sequins to give my card some sparkle.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E57, E55, E53, E51

I'm Quite Fawned Of You

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend!  Today I'm sharing a quick and simple Valentine card.

This sweet little deer is from CC Designs' Fawned stamp set.  I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it and because the images are small and easy to color, you can whip up a card in no time.  I colored the deer with copics and popped it up on a diecut circle.  The sentiment is included in this set.  I diecut the heart banner using CC Designs' Heart Banner Metal Die.  Lastly, I added some pink enamel dots to finish my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an amazing week!

Hugs, Anita

I Love You Deerly

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a Valentine card featuring a new image from CC Designs.

These adorable little deer are from a new stamp set called Fawned.  This stamp set is from CC Designs' January release and I fell in love with these deer as soon as I saw them ... they make such a fun Valentine card.   I stenciled a hill and some pastel clouds with distress inks and then colored the deer with my copics.  I framed the scene with a diecut and used some papers from my stash.  I used a black glaze pen on the deer eyes and noses and that finished up my CAS card.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous day!

You're The Coolest

Good morning.  I wanted to share a winter card I made a couple of weeks ago but forgot to share on my blog.

This sweet little image is Snowflake and you can find her at CC Designs.  Isn't she adorable?  I think she would make a perfect Christmas card too but I went with a winter theme.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and then added some Glamour Dust to her hat and her snowflakes.  I used an older die from Impression Obsession to cut the snowflakes and then added a pearl to the center of each snowflake.  A very CAS card but easy to mail!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Are you managing to stay warm?  We've got lots of snow coming down and our temperatures are in the mid-20s.  It's crazy windy out today so with the wind chill it feels more like it's in the single digits.  We've had so much snow and extremely cold weather this year ... brrr!  OK, enough whining about the weather, right?  I've got a little Valentine cutie to share with you today.

This little sweetie is Pure Innocence Love You With All My Heart by My Favorite Things.  There's also this image with a little boy hugging a heart and you can find him at the 7 Kids College Fund Store.  I think they're both adorable!  I colored the image with copics and colored pencils.  The background xoxo bingo card is a freebie I picked up awhile back and I thought it would be the perfect background for this card.  I picked up the freebie from SammyD Kreations here.

Warmest Wishes

Happy Friday everyone!  Our weather here has been extremely cold and yesterday we got lots of snow.  It's so pretty to look out the window and see the fresh snow on all the pine trees and the ground.  But along with that snow came some very high winds, which made it feel even colder.  And I think they're calling for our temps to drop even lower so I guess I will just have to hibernate lol!  I don't like cold weather but I do love snowmen and that's what I'm sharing today.

This adorable snowman is Snowman Snapshot and he's a freebie over at Whimsie Doodles.  That's right ... he's free!  While you're over there be sure to check out all the digi stamps Melyssa has available.  I'm telling you right now that they are totally adorable so don't blame me if you end up doing some major shopping while you're there :)  Anyway, I colored this cute snowman with copics and used Glossy Accents on his nose and coal buttons.  I added some Glamour Dust to the white snowflakes.  I used an Impression Obsession die for the blue snowflakes and then added some pearls.  The sentiment is from the CC Designs AmyR Freezin' Season stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs, Anita
