Sending Hugs

Good evening friends!  I'm sharing a card I made using Honey Bee Stamps.

This adorable group of critter friends is from the Forest Friends stamp set.  This stamp set was gifted to me by my sweet friend Von Marie (vonmariedesign on IG).   I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock and then placed a mask over it.  I used a stencil to apply Distress Oxide Inks on the card front.  I removed the mask, colored the images with copics, and used a black glaze pen on the critter's eyes.  The sentiment is from the Warm Wishes stamp set. I diecut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a pink cardbase using foam tape.  I'm entering my card in the Honey Bee Stamps Buzzworthy Challenge #28 on facebook - the challenge is Mother's Day.

The Greeting Farm - May Previews Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of The Greeting Farm previews of the May release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Minkie #1 stamp set!

This stamp set includes lots of adorable little Minkie characters and accessories!  I sponged some Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks onto Bristol card.  I colored the Minkie girls with copics and diecut them with my Scan N Cut machine.  I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the glasses, the cherry on the ice cream, and the chocolate chips in the cookie.  I used a white gel pen to add some polka dots to the coffee mug.  I adhered all the Minkies with foam tape.  I used the new Hi/Hello Die to cut the hello sentiment from black cardstock and adhered that to my card.

The Greeting Farm - May Previews Day 2

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of The Greeting Farm previews of the May release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Miss Anya Crop and the Hi Hello Die. 

I love the Anyas that are in this new stamp set!  I sponged some Cracked Pistachio and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol card, flicked some water to create the lighter areas, and adhered it to my card.  I colored Anya and her sweet kitty with copics and cut them out using my Scan N Cut.  I diecut the Hi! die and adhered it to my card.   I adhered the images with foam tape and added some sequins.

The Greeting Farm - May Previews Day 1

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of The Greeting Farm previews of the May release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Thank You Die.

I love the font of the new Thank You and Hi/Hello Dies that are being released this month!  I sponged some Cracked Pistachio and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol card, flicked some water to create the lighter areas, and added a frame that I diecut from white cardstock.  I diecut the Thank You Die several times, adhered them together with liquid adhesive, and applied Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to add a little bit of sparkle.  I adhered the diecut to the card using liquid adhesive.  I colored the sweet little fairies from the Fairy Happy set with copics and diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I adhered the fairies with foam tape.  Lastly, I added a few star sequins.

Happy Birthday Friend

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Today I'm sharing a card I made using Hello Bluebird stamps.

I used the Just Sayin' stamps that I purchased from Butterfly Reflections Ink.  If you've never purchased from Vanessa before (BRI) stop by and check out her shop!  She has a huge selection from tons of companies and her shipping is super quick!   I colored all the sweet animals and balloons with copics.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and added some white highlights with a gelly roll pen.  I sponged Cracked Pistachio and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks on Bristol card and flicked water to create the lighter spots.  I added Nuvo Crystal glaze to the balloons for some shine and then adhered everything to my card with foam tape.  I added a few sequins for some sparkle.

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Favorite Critter

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is "Favorite Critter". I used stamps from the Bear Mail stamp set.  Actually, there are 2 bears in this set and they are both adorable!  I sponged distress ink on the front of my card and then added a diecut frame.  I colored the images with copics, cut them out, and adhered the images with foam tape.  I added the clouds and sun diecut with foam tape also.
