SugarPea Designs - Have A Super Birthday

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for an inspiration post on the SugarPea Designs Blog.

I used this little fella from the My Hero stamp set.  Isn't he a cutie?  And of course there are great sentiments in this set too.  I stamped him on a panel of Neenah cardstock that I cut using the SugarCuts - Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles.  I colored him with copics and used a black gel pen on his shirt buttons.  I added some Glossy Accents to his eyeglasses - looks so cute IRL.  I cut the little circle using the SugarCuts - Zig Zag Stitched Circles die and the sentiment tag was cut using the SugarCuts - Stitched Flags die.  I added a button and some twine to finish my card.

Be sure to stop by the SugarPea Designs Blog for even more inspiration from the DT.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

I Will Always Be Here For You

Happy Saturday!  Hope you have lots of fun planned this weekend.  I've got another elephant card to share today.

This sweet little elephant is from the BB Adorable Elephants set from My Favorite Things.  I pretty much love all the BB designs, but these elephants are one of my favorites.  I colored the images with copics and colored pencils and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die from Your Next Stamp to cut the designer paper.  I added some Glamour Dust to the little butterflies to give them some sparkle and used a black glaze pen on the elephants eyes.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Easter Basket

Good morning!  I have another sweet Easter card to share today.

I used this cute chickie in a basket from Pink and Main's Easter Peeps stamp set.  There are lots of cute Easter images in this set so if you're looking for a new Easter set to add to your stamp collection, stop by Pink and Main and check it out.  I colored everything with copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Your Next Stamp to cut my papers and then added a few sequins.  The cute egg paper is from the For Peep's Sake collection from Taylored Expressions.  There are really cute patterns and bright colors in this paper collection - love it!  If you live in my area you can find all the supplies for this card at The Paper Cottage.

Your Next Stamp - March DT Dare

Good morning and welcome to the Your Next Stamp March DT Dare!  Yesterday was International Women's Day so our dare this month was to create a project around that theme.

I started my card but cutting a piece of watercolor paper using the Stitched Rectangle Die.  I added some distress inks and water to create the background.  Then I used the Hey Chickie! stamp set to stamp a few chicks.  I colored them with copics and cut them out with the coordinating die set.  I stamped the "Friend" letters with the Cute Alpha Squares and cut them out using the Cute Alpha Squares Die Set.  I used the Fishtail Flag Banner Die to cut the cute banner and then I also used distress inks to add color to the banner.   Lastly, I added some sparkly gumdrops to my card.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog for more inspiration.  Karen gives away a stamp set to one lucky person that leaves a comment!

SugarPea Designs - One Big Hoppy Family

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for an inspiration post on the SugarPea Designs Blog.

If you follow my blog then you know I've been making lots of Easter cards so I thought I would make another one to share today.  I used the adorable One Big Hoppy Family - love this daddy (or grandpa) bunny with the two babies.  Kind of reminds me of my hubby with our two grandkids - they are definitely two of our greatest blessings.  Anyway, I colored these cuties with copics and used a black gel pen on his jacket button.  I also added some Glossy Accents to all the bunnies' noses.  Then I cut the image out using the SugarCuts - Zig Zag Stitched Circles die.   The sentiment tag was cut using the SugarCuts - Stitched Flags die and then I added a few enamel dots.

Your Next Stamp - March Release and Blog Hop

Good evening everyone!  I'm so happy you joined us for the Your Next Stamp March release blog hop!  We have lots of fabulous stamps and dies for you this month and I know you're going to love them!  The entire release is available now in the YNS Store.

For my first card I used Vacation Phoebe.  Isn't she a cutie?  My daughter is taking her two children on their first cruise this year so I'll be using this sweet stamp set to make some cards and hopefully a little memory book for their snapshots.  I sponged some distress inks onto a watercolor panel that I cut using the Stitched Rectangle Die.  I colored the images with copics and then cut them out using the coordinating dies.  Then I used the new Aloha die to cut the sentiment from black cardstock.  Be sure to check out the photo of the stamp set below because there are lots of other fun images in this set!

My second card features the Hello Chickie stamp set.  Another adorable set that's perfect for your spring and Easter cards.  I also think this set would be really cute for baby cards too, right?  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the pink polka-dot paper.  I colored the chickies with copics and cut them out using the coordinating dies.  There are lots of fun chickie images in this set too!  I used the new Fishtail Flag Banner die to create the banner across the top of the card.

Karen is offering 20% off your entire purchase from March 6th through March 12th!  Be sure to stop back by the YNS Blog on March 9th for even more inspiration with the new release stamps and dies!
