Show Us Your Favorite Stamp

Happy Tuesday to all of you!  We have a new challenge for you over on the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog.  Our lovely Kerry chose the theme for this challenge and she wants to see what you create using your favorite stamp!

I used Roadster Nikki on my card and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I used Glossy Accents on her sunglasses, the car headlights, and the license plate.  I used a metallic pen on the car bumper and door handle.  Doesn't she look like she's having a fun day with her little dog Buttercup by her side?

Be sure to stop by the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog to see what the amazing DT has created for this challenge.  I hope you ink up your favorite stamp and join in our challenge.   Also be sure to check out the Ladybug Crafts Ink Store because Kerry is running a fabulous sale!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Stamp:  LCI - Roadster Nikki
Paper:  Echo Park; Bazzill
Other:  Copics, Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, Glossy Accents, metallic pen, ribbon, black glaze pen

August Whimsy Digi Stamps Blog Hop

** Scroll down to see my Pollycraft post **

Hello and thank you for joining us for our August Whimsy Stamps digi blog hop.  You should have come from the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog.  If you didn't, you may want to go back and start there.

I used Summer Memories Sentiments by StampArt Design by Kathryne.  I love the sentiments in this set.  I stitched all my papers and then cut out some felt flowers and leaves with dies.  I added a pearl to each of my flowers.

Your next stop on this hop will be Kindra's blog.  I'm sure she has something gorgeous to share with you today.  Please be sure to leave a comment at each blog along the way.  A random winner will be picked from two of the blogs and the winners will receive a digi image of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps store.  The Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from the last stop on the hop.  This winner will get five digi images of their choice and will get to be a guest designer for Whimsy for the month of August!

Thank you so much for stopping by and good luck on the hop!

Snowcones, anyone?

Happy Monday to all of you.  We're still experiencing very high temps (mid-90's) and high humidity ... so I thought I'd make some snowcones in hopes of cooling things down a bit.  Well, ok, I didn't actually make snowcones but it looks like Dexter did!

This adorable penguin is Dexter Snow Cone from Pollycraft.  I used my copics and colored pencils to color this cool dude, and added some Glossy Accents to his beak and feet.  I don't seem to be able to make a card lately without using Glamour Dust ... love this stuff ... so there's some on his hat, the icy snowcone, and the snowflakes.  My layout is a sketch by Paula, which leads me to our latest challenge over on the Pollycraft Monday Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is a sketch challenge.  Don't you just love it?  I love working with sketches as I find it much easier to not have to come up with my own layout :)

Here's the sketch.  I hope you can play along in our challenge this week.  Please be sure to stop by the Pollycraft Monday Challenge Blog to see all the gorgeous cards by the DT.  Our sketch challenge is being sponsored by Paula and the prize is 10 Pollycraft digis!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful week.

Whatzup?

Well, it's another hot day here in my area.  It's suppose to reach 94 degrees today ... yuck!  And if the weatherperson is correct it's suppose to be that hot for the next several days.  So I'm trying to stay inside today and finish up some cards.

I just finished this fur baby this morning.  This is Whatzup Dog! by Crissy's Digi's and you can find him over at the Whimsy Stamps shop.  I think he looks so cute sitting there with that bone in his mouth.  I colored him with copics and colored pencils.  I applied Glossy Accents to his nose and the pads on his feet.  I also finished the inside of the card.

Don't forget that Whimsy is having a 25% off sale on their digi stamps ... but you need to hurry because the sale ends today!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Barry Winter and His Little Friend

It's Friday!  I don't know about you but this week has flown by for me.  We're still experiencing really hot temperatures -- it's been in the mid-90's and the humidity is really high.  But this little scene reminds me that winter really isn't that far off.

This cute image is Barry Winter and he's one of the images in the latest StampFairy release.  I colored these adorable friends with copics and colored pencils.  I added Glamour Dust to the snow, snowman, and the snowflake.  I used white acrylic paint to add the polka dots on Barry's hat and scarf.  I added some Glossy Accents on Barry's nose.  I shaded my background with chalks.

Here's the entire Barry Winter collection and you can find it in the StampFairy shop.  Please stop by the StampFairy Blog to check out the gorgeous work by the DT.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Blog Candy Winner

First of all, I want to thank you for the wonderful birthday wishes you left for me.  I always enjoy reading your sweet comments.  I also want to welcome my new followers.  I hope you find something on my blog that inspires you :)

My one-year blog anniversary is coming up soon and I'm putting together some goodies for another blog candy.  I should have it posted within the next week or so.

I used a much cuter version of random.org to select my winner ...  I used random.Zack.  Zack is my adorable little grandson (who desperately needs a haircut lol!).  He wanted to help pick the winner so we printed off all the comments, cut them apart and put them in a big bowl.  And here he is with the name he drew.

The winner is   ...   Christine aka blankiefinder

Congratulations Christine!  Please contact me at the email in my sidebar so I can get your blog candy on its way!

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to enter.  Hugs, Anita
