Happy Friday everyone! The weekend has finally arrived and I hope we all have beautiful weather so we can enjoy it ;-)
For the past couple of weeks we've been featuring the Leanne Ellis Designs over on the Sugar Nellie Blog and today I'm sharing a card with the A Little Hug stamp. I've colored this cutie with copics and colored pencils. Since my dp has a very busy pattern I thought it best to keep my embellishments to a minimum. I've added some ribbon with a bow and a diecut flower with a button. You can find this lovely image over at Funky Kits.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Anita

You're My Cup Of Tea
Good morning everyone! Only one more day to go till we hit the weekend ... yay! I've got lots going on this weekend, the weather is suppose to be fabulous, and I'm really looking forward it ;-) I do have a new card to share with you today.
This sweet image is called Time For Tea Girl. She's one of the Time For Tea Designs digis by Jo Davies. I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used some lovely Authentique papers for my card. I added a doily, some seam binding, and flowers with pearls. She sure looks like she's enjoying that cup of tea, doesn't she? Or maybe she's like me in the mornings with my first cup of coffee ... still trying to wake up lol! You can find the rest of Jo's beautiful digis in her Etsy shop here.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Dreamy
Hello everyone! We've finally arrived at the weekend ... yay! Do you have big plans for Memorial Weekend? A BBQ maybe or a parade to attend? I think we're doing both if the weather cooperates. We had warm temperatures and fabulous weather for several days and now ... it's so stinkin' cold! I'm beginning to wonder if summer is ever going to get here ;-) OK, so I'm guessing you didn't stop by to hear me complain about the weather, did you?
This little sweetie is Dreamy and she's from the Home Grown Manga collection at Funky Kits. I've colored her with copics and colored pencils, and added a bow, some flowers, and pearls for embellishments. The papers are some older scraps from my stash and I have no idea who made them, but it always feels good to use up some of my leftovers.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and fabulous weather!

Just For You
Happy Thursday to all of you! I hope you're having a fabulous week so far. I've been crazy busy this week and the days have just flown by ... only one more till the weekend ;-)
Sylvia Zet released her Naughty Puppies images this week and of course I had to purchase them ... I mean, have you seen how CUTE these little doggies are? I colored my image with copics and colored pencils and used some Glossy Accents on the mailbox flag, the puppy's nose, and the pawprints in the sentiment. I also added some Liquid Pearls and a bow. A very clean and simple card because I wanted the focus to be on the adorable image. There are three more images included in the set and I hope to find time to color those soon.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Anita

Inspiration Tuesday at By LORi Designs
( ** Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post ** )
Hello again sweet friends! We have a new Inspiration post over on the By LORi Designs Blog today.
I actually made a shaker card! Can you believe I have never made a shaker card before? I know ... I'm always so far behind everyone else lol! Anyway, I was blog surfing a couple of weeks ago and ran across the super-talented Leanne's blog. She was sharing a shaker card she had made using washi tape. Well, since I have plenty of pretty washi tapes that I've collected and kind of never use, I figured I'd try a shaker card. So easy and I love the way it turned out :) I used the adorable Lollipop Saylor and colored her with copics and colored pencils. I used some Glamour Dust on the star on her dress and then added red, white and blue seed beads. I also picked up some red, silver, and blue star sequins and added a few of those. Sorry about the glare on the photo but it was hard to get a good picture with the shiny acetate. You can check out Leanne's amazing card here and she even shares the link for directions on how to make the washi tape shaker card. Now be sure to pop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of this sweet DT has created this week.
Thanks for stopping by!

Garden Variety Tuesday at The Greeting Farm
It's Tuesday so that means we have a new Garden Variety Tuesday Challenge over on The Greeting Farm Blog today. This week our lovely Rosie chose the challenge and she gave us a beautiful photo inspiration to work with ... I love the colors in this picture.
I used an older stamp on my card today. This cutie is from the Hope & Grace collection and it's retired. I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added a little pearl to the bow at her neck. Although I love the colors in this challenge I was a little worried about finding some matching papers ... and then sweet Suzanne pointed out that the Mabel papers by My Mind's Eye were a perfect match. Fortunately I still had some Mabel paper left in my stash! I used the die from the Mini Fleurs Clear Stamp set for my flower and added a big button with some twine. I used the Delicate Words Die for my sentiment. Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT and to get the challenge details!

Oh No!
Good morning friends. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. We had some really nice weather and I'm hoping it stays around for awhile :)
This adorable image is called That Uh-Oh Moment and you can find her over at Sassy Cheryl's Stamps. I just love the look on her face and I'm finding that as I get older I seem to have more and more of those "uh-oh I forgot something" moments lol! Anyway, I thought the expression on her face would be perfect for a belated birthday card. I colored her with copics and colored pencils and made the sentiment on the computer. I added some lace, ribbon, and flowers.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great week!

Garden Variety Tuesday over at The Greeting Farm
Happy Tuesday everyone! We're starting a new Garden Variety Tuesday Challenge over on the Greeting Farm Blog today and I hope you play along with us!
It was my turn to set the challenge this week and I chose the color combo of blue and green - I love those two colors together :) I decided to use this cool looking CC James since it's been quite awhile since he's seen ink. Of course he's colored with my copics and colored pencils. I added some twine and a button and then used the Delicate Words die for my sentiment. I tend to keep my masculine cards fairly simple because I never seem to have any "male" embellishments, but this card seems to be very bare ... any suggestions on what I could add? Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of this amazing DT is sharing today!
Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

All That Scraps May Preview - Day One
Happy Monday to all of you. Today we're starting our previews of the new All That Scraps May release. We've got some adorable stamps this month and I think you're really going to love them!
This cute image is Zooming. Isn't she a sweetie, flying by in her little plane? And the banner behind the plane is part of the image too. I used my copics and colored pencils and then added Glossy Accents to the aviator glasses. The sentiment is from our new Sunny Sentiments set. Wouldn't this image be perfect for a birthday card? I think it would be cute to write the birthday person's name (and maybe age) in the banner to personalize the card! Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today. I hope you join us again tomorrow because we'll be sharing more of the new May release!

All That Scraps Review
Happy Wednesday to all of you! Today we're sharing some new projects featuring the April release over on the All That Scraps Blog.
Today I'm using Drozy's Darlings Mom's Heels rubber stamp on my card. OMGosh, can you remember playing dress-up when you were a kiddo? That was a long time ago for me but I can still remember how much fun it was. Of course, I didn't have sparkly high heels to go along with my outfits lol! I've colored this beautiful fairy with copics and colored pencils and used Glamour Dust on her wings and shoes. I added Liquid Pearls to the center of the punched flowers and also the flowers in her hair. I also used the CC Designs Cutters Olive Branch Die and some ribbon. Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today!
Thank you for stopping by.
