Happy Friday everyone! Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new Sketch and Color Challenge over on the Your Next Stamp Blog.
I used the Word Critters Collection - Gardening Birds clear stamp set to make this fun card. Now really, isn't that sentiment hilarious with this image? I colored everything with copics and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used my Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the pattern paper and the white cardstock. I cut some green cardstock with the Spring/Summer Scene die for the ground and then I used the Puffy Cloud Border die to cut the blue cloud for the sentiment.
To enter the challenge you need to follow the sketch and/or the inspiration photo. Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to read the challenge details and to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hugs, Anita

A Little Birdie Told Me ...
Hello all! I hope you're having a great week so far. I have a fun birthday card to share today.

I colored this kitty with copics and then cut the tag using the SugarPea Designs' Gift Tag SugarCuts die. I used Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Die to cut my pattern paper - I love that stitched edge.

The Challenge #72 - Color Inspiration
Good morning! I hope you had a fabulous and fun weekend. Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge. Each week we have a different type of challenge and this week it's a color challenge. I hope you play along!
I used this adorable bird from the Birdie Notes stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. Cute little bird, right? I cut the patterned paper with the Stitched Rectangle Die from Your Next Stamp. I stamped the bird on Neenah cardstock and colored it with copics. Then I used My Favorite Thing's Stitched Circle Stax to cut out the image. The sentiment banner was cut using My Favorite Thing's Fishtail Flags Layers Stax.
Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the beautiful work by the rest of the DT!

I Thank My Lucky Stars You'e In My Life
Happy Thursday! The weekend will be here soon and I sure hope it brings some warmer weather to my area. It was so cold and windy yesterday it felt like winter brrr! Anyway, I've got a sweet CAS card to share today.
I've had this adorable Shooting Star stamp from Mama Elephant forever and finally found some time to ink her up. I colored her with copics and gave her red hair. My little granddaughter has red hair and this card is for her, as the sentiment perfectly describes my feelings for that sweet little girl! I used the coordinating die to cut her out and then popped her up on top of some clouds. I added a few sequins for some sparkle.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - May DT Dare
Good morning and welcome to the Your Next Stamp May DT Dare! Our dare this month was to create a project with "stripes".
This cute fisherman is from the new Keepin' It Reel stamp set. I love this fisherman and the sentiments in this set are so funny! I colored him with copics and then cut him out using the coordinating dies. I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the striped paper and then used the Circles with Stitching and Piercing Marks Die to cut the yellow paper behind the fisherman. I added a few of the new Cosmic Crush Sparkly Gumdrops to finish my card. I have a brother-in-law that's an avid fisherman and this card just makes me think of him ... especially that sentiment lol!!!
Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog for more inspiration. Karen gives away a stamp set to one lucky person that leaves a comment!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!
