Guess what? I was invited to join the DT over at All That Scraps. Well, of course I really had to think about it ... for about a second lol! Thank you for having me on your team Christine ;) So here is my very first DT card for the All That Scraps May preview.
Isn't she just the cutest thing ever? I fell in love with this sweet little Berry Beatrice as soon as I saw her. She's colored with copics and colored pencils. I also used the new CC Cutter Strawberry die. I cut the strawberry, cap, and blossom and shaded them with colored pencils. I added some seeds to the strawberry with a black glaze pen, and added a little pearl to the center of the strawberry blossom. The sentiment is from the new Many Thanks Sentiments by AmyR Stamps. This collection will be available for purchase in the All That Scraps store Thursday, May 3 at 8 pm CST.
Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT. I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peak ;)
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Anita

For a Friend
Hello sweet friends. I have a card today that I've made with an older Sugar Nellie stamp.
This lovely image is called Fly Free and she was designed by Leanne Ellis. She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used some glitter paint on the flower in her hair. I've followed Maria Therese's pretty sketch over at The Sugar Bowl. The optional theme is scrolls & swirls, so I used a flourish die by My Favorite Things. I added a few punched flowers with pearls. There's still a week left to enter the sketch challenge over on The Sugar Bowl so be sure to stop by for all the details. You'll find lots of gorgeous inspiration while you're there. You can find this beautiful image, along with all the other Sugar Nellie stamps, over at Funky Kits.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Buttons and Bows at Divas by Design
It's Wednesday so that means we have a new challenge for you over on the Divas By Design Challenge Blog. Our new challenge is Buttons and/or Bows.
I used Sweet Sundae by Meljen's Designs on my card. I colored this yummy sundae with copics and colored pencils. I used Glossy Accents on the fudge sauce and cherry, and Liquid Applique for the whipped topping. The pink ice cream actually matches my paper better IRL but wow, it sure is bright in this picture, huh? Anyway, I used a doily, some ribbon with a bow, and a button.
We are being sponsored by Meljen's Designs this week so be sure to stop by the Divas By Design Challenge Blog to find out all the details and to see the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT. Sadly, this is my last challenge with the Divas as I've decided to step down. But I do want to thank Rebekah and all the other sweet ladies over there for being such amazing teamies! You girls rock ;)
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Little Light of Mine
Happy Wednesday ... we're halfway to the weekend :) This week over on the Sugar Nellie Blog we're showcasing the beautiful Simply Sassy images.
I decided to use the lovely Little Light of Mine today. I just love the sweet look on her face. Doesn't it look like she's missing her very best friend in the whole world? She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used some glitter paint on the candle flame and her dress ruffle. My sentiment is from the Friend Stamp set by Precious Remembrance Shop. I've added a doily, some lace, a leafy flourish, punched flowers, and pearls. You can find all the fabulous Sugar Nellie images over at Funky Kits.

Spring Flowers
I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Our weather hasn't been very nice here ... rain, rain and more rain. But all that rain will eventually bring some lovely spring flowers, right?
Speaking of spring flowers, I picked up this cute little Flower Pot 1 over at Bugaboo Stamps. This image is so easy to color and I thought it would be perfect for those little cards you sometimes need to put together quickly. I used copics and colored pencils to color the image. I added some Creative Inspirations Paint to the flower petals and centers. I used Blush and Tutu Pink on the petals, and Sunshine on the centers. These paints add such a pretty pearlescent shimmer to the flowers but unfortunately I can't seem to capture that with my camera. I paper-pieced the flower pot and then added some shading to it. We also have a new challenge for you over on the Creative Inspirations Blog. Our theme this week is Spring and I hope you can join us.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Happy Spring
Happy Thursday to all of you. I had planned on coloring this image for an Easter card but ran out of time. So I decided to make it into a spring card.
This adorable image is from the C. C. Designs' Spring Has Sprung set. I used copics and colored pencils, and added acrylic paint to make polka dots on the sheep's hairbow. I used Liquid Pearls for the flower centers, and followed the sketch over at Taylored Expressions. My papers are Happy Go Lucky from My Mind's Eye ... my 6x6 pad is almost gone. I really loved the colors in this pad and wish I had bought 2 of them :(
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful evening.

I added some ribbon, pearls and a little Prima flower. You've still got a week to enter the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl so stop by and check out all the lovely inspiration.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

You Can Count On Me
Happy Tuesday! I have a project to share today using Creative Inspirations Paint.
This little girl is Lollipop Girl by Whimsie Doodles. Isn't she adorable? As soon as I saw her I knew I had to have her ... and the sentiment comes with the image. And really, don't the two just go together perfectly lol? She's colored with copics and colored pencils. I used Creative Inspirations paints to give some shimmer to the colors. These paints are thick and creamy and they dry so quickly. You don't have to worry about smudging them like you do when you use Stickles. I used the color Tutu Pink on the lollipop and little heart on her dress, Plum on the button, and Fairy Dust on the dress ruffle. I cut her out and popped her up on dimensionals and added a few buttons to finish my card.
Creative Inspirations Paint also has a weekly challenge and you can find all the details here.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
Hugs, Anita

I Heart You
(**Please scroll down for my Pollycraft post**)
Hello sweet friends. I have another card to share with you today.
This little sweetie is Sally & Her Favorite Blankie by Sassy Cheryl's Digis. As soon as I saw this image I knew I had to have her. When my daughter was little she also had a favorite blankie. That blankie went everywhere with her. I still have her blankie ... well, I have what's left of it I should say. It's not much more than a rag now lol. Anyway, I just love this image. She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used some glitter paint on the hearts. My sentiment is from the Precious Remembrance Shop's Friend Stamp Set. I added a few pearls and trimmed the heart sentiment with glitter paint.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Anita
