Hi everyone! Well, I decided to make one last Halloween card. I bought this stamp last year and never got around to using it. So I thought it was about time it saw some ink. This stamp is called Treat Kitty and it's by Rubbernecker. I fell in love with this image the first time I saw it...I love this kitty peeking out of the bag. This is the card I'm giving my grandson for Halloween. He loves animals so I'm sure he'll really like it. Of course, being the sweetie that he is, he pretty much loves anything that Meema (that's what he calls me) makes for him.
I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I used glitter on the star and hat buckle and put some glaze on the hatband and the spider. I used my Memory Box Blackbird papers and stitched around the edges. I added a few black brads, a big bow and a silver spider charm to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by to visit. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Warm Wishes
Happy Thursday. OK, this is the third day in a row I have posted a new card. I don't know what's up with that but I guess I'm on a roll. This image is called Cutie Bundles Set and it's by Stampendous. I picked this stamp up at my LSS, Simply Scrapbooks. If you live in or near Kettering, Ohio, you've got to check out this store. Vicki, the owner, has a huge selection to choose from and she and her staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They also have lots of awesome projects in the shop to spark your creativity!
So, I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and added Glamour Dust to her hat. Isn't she just the cutest? I love that smile on her face. I used my Martha Stewart snowflake border punch and added some shimmery ribbon around it. I used various punches to punch out my snowflakes and I covered them with Glamour Dust and added purple gems. My paper is the new Christmas paper by BoBunny. I love these nontraditional colors for Christmas.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit. And to those of you that have signed up as followers, I also want to thank you. I do appreciate that you take time out of your busy schedules to stop by to see what I've been up to.

Spooky!
I hope you're all ready for Halloween because it's almost here. Just a few more days and the ghosts and goblins will be roaming my neighborhood in search of some yummy candy. I love checking out the costumes of all the little kiddos...they're so cute! I have another Halloween card to share with you today. I used an image by Meljen's Designs called Cat O Lantern and he's not spooky at all. I think this is a perfect image to use on cards for the younger ones.
I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and used my Nestabilities for the image and layers. My paper is by Echo Park. I added a ribbon and button and just a little touch of Stickles. After all, what's a Halloween card without some sparkle?
Thanks for stopping by for a visit. Be sure you check out Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog. You have one more day to enter the current challenge and then we'll be announcing a new challenge tomorrow. And Melissa will also have a new release tomorrow -- yeah!

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - Make Your Own DP
Hello everyone! I hope you're having a good day. Today is Totally Ladybug Tuesday and our Guest DT member, Ang, challenged all of us to make our own dp for our project this week. Hmm, I don't make my own dp so this was a bit of a tough one for me. But I finally came up with an idea.
My stamp is Ladybug Craft Ink's Nikki and Buttercup Running in Snow. I love this image...it's one of my favorite LCI stamps and I was so happy when Kerry sent it to me. I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and used my Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder to make my dp. I thought the snowflake embossing would go perfectly with this image. I used my Glamour Dust to add a ton of sparkle. It doesn't show that well in the picture, but believe me, IRL this baby sparkles! I used my Nestabilities to cut out and mat my image, and then added some pearls and ribbon.
If you'd like to have this stamp or any of the other adorable LCI stamps, you can order them here. And remember, Kerry is offering 15% off your stamp order through the end of November 2010. Just be sure to use the discount code CB2010.
We'll be having a Blog Hop next week over at our new Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog. Now, please be sure to visit all the other Lovely Ladybugs to check out their projects this week:

Just Cute Bears and Friends Challenge
Hello everyone! I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday. There's a new challenge over at the Just Cute Bears and Friends Challenge Blog. The new challenge is a sketch chosen by Helen.
My image is a Forever Friends bear that was sent to me by my friend Tammi. I just love Forever Friends bears...I think they're all adorable. I colored my image with my copics and prismacolor pencils and added some glitter to his hat. I colored the hands and heart on a second image and cut them out. I used pop-dots to adhere that piece to give it some added dimension. You can't tell from this picture, but it really pops it up off the page IRL. Well, that's one more Christmas card I can add to my stack...it's growing, slowly but surely.
Did you notice we changed the name of our challenge? Starting with this challenge, you can use other cute animal images. Of course you can still use bears...the choice is up to you. Don't forget to stop by the Just Cute Bears and Friends Challenge to check out the beautiful work by the other DT members.
Thank you for stopping by to visit. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Pretty Pink Princess
Pretty pink princess...hmm, say that 3 times real fast. Bit of a tongue-twister, huh? I hope you're all having a fantastic Friday. I decided to make a Magnolia card today. It's been a long time since I've inked up one of my lovely Tildas. This image is Princess Tilda, and she does look like a little princess, doesn't she?
My image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol, and I've added a generous dose of Glamour Dust. I made a little rosette from my ribbon and added a flower to the center. My scallops were made with my Martha Stewart punch and I've added a little bow and a charm of two hearts. There are two teensy-tiny pearls on her shoes and pearls in the corners of the card.
Thanks for stopping by to visit. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Anita
Stamp: Magnolia - Princess Tilda; PTI - Mixed Messages
Paper: Bazzill, stash

Meljen's Challenge 30
Hello everyone and happy Thursday!
We have a new challenge for you today over at Meljen's Designs and the challenge is "Anything Goes". I used one of the new images from today's release for my project.
Rather than make a card for this challenge, I decided to make a Halloween door hanger for my grandson. I used Little Frankie, which you can find here. I colored Little Frankie with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and used my black glaze pen on his fingernails. For my door hanger, I cut a piece of chipboard the size I needed and covered it with my papers. I used my Nestabilities to cut the opening for the door knob. I used my Martha Stewart punches for the goo and the cobwebs and tied a ribbon and charm around the bottom. I've had these EK Success alphabet stones in my stash forever and decided to use them to personalize the door hanger for my little cutie patootie! He hasn't seen the door hanger yet but I think he'll really like it. He's five years old and sooo into Halloween this year!
Make sure you head over to the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to check out the rest of the adorable images Melissa is releasing today, and you can also see the awesome projects created by the other DT members. I hope you play along with us in the challenge this week.

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - Cats vs Dogs
Happy Tuesday everyone. Please make sure you read this post all the way through to the end...you won't want to miss some exciting news! Thanks for joining me today for TLT. That's right, today is Totally Ladybug Tuesday. Our Design Team has been having weekly challenges among ourselves and this week it was Hayley's turn to pick the theme. Hayley picked Cats vs Dogs with a shabby chic/vintage theme. Umm, hello Hayley...I don't do shabby chic/vintage lol! Now, don't get me wrong, I think other people make gorgeous shabby chic/vintage cards. It's just waaay outside my comfort zone, know what I mean? Anyway, I've been stalling long enough...here's my interpretation of shabby chic/vintage:
I chose to use this adorable Ladybug Crafts Ink stamp called Catflap Magnum and you can find him here. I colored Magnum with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and used a glaze pen on his eyes and nose. My paper is from Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers. I love this paper. I bought the 6 x 6 pad, and of course I've been hoarding it (it's an illness, I know). I distressed the edges of my paper and applied some Chestnut Roan ink on the edges. I've used two small brass brads and some twine for embellishment and that's it. No sparkle, glitter, flowers...yikes!
Now, as I mentioned above the Ladybug Crafts Ink DT has been having weekly challenges among ourselves. But...that's soon to change. We're starting a Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenge Blog and it goes live today. Our first challenge starts on November 2, 2010, but you can head over to the new blog today for a chance to win this yummy candy:
Here's what you need to do:

2) Become a follower of the new Challenge Blog

And don't forget that Kerry is having a great sale at Ladybug Crafts Ink. You can save 15% off your total order through the end of November if you use the discount code CB2010.

Rosie Rabbit
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day doing whatever it is you enjoy doing :) I finally found a little time to play with my stamps and paper today...woohoo! The image I've used on my card today is Stampavie's Rosie Rabbit.
I really love Stampavie's stamps...their images are cute and adorable and they also stamp very nicely. Anyway, I colored my image with distress inks and watercolors. I used a glaze pen on the ladybug and Rosie's eyes and nose, and spinkled some glitter on the rose. I used my Nestabilities to cut out my image and then traced and hand-cut my mat. I used my Martha Stewart daisy edge punch to punch a row of daisies on my grey cardstock and then just used my scissors to cut one of the daisies off the strip for the corner of my card. If you've never used your edge punches in this way, give it a try. It's so easy and you can make really pretty corner "embellishments" for your cards...and you get more use out of those MS punches! My butterflies were punched with the MS butterfly punch and I added some little pearls to make them sparkle. I used some floss to tie a bow through my button.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Other: Distress inks, glaze pen, Nestabilities, MS daisy edge punch and butterfly punch, button, floss, pearls, glitter

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - One for the Boys
Hello everyone! Do you know what today is? That's right...it's Totally Ladybug Tuesday. The Ladybug Crafts Ink DT had a challenge among ourselves and Pinky, one of the lovely Ladybugs, chose the challenge this week. Pinky asked us to make "one for the boys".
I used Cheeky Jack and colored that little cutie with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I used Basic Grey Kioshi papers for my card. This has been one of my favorite Basic Grey releases. I just love all the colors in the Kioshi line. Anyway, I cut my images and mats with my Nestabilities and added some hemp and buttons to my card. I have such a hard time making cards for guys. If I can't slap on some glitter, stickles, flowers and ribbon, I really struggle lol! I used the Tim Hotz ticket strip die to cut out the ticket for my sentiment. I love that die.
Be sure to check out what the other Lovely Ladybugs have created this week:
Kerry
Lisa
Gaelle
Hayley
Mary J
Michele
Pinky
Sue
Tams
Ang
And remember, Kerry is offering 15% off your total order over at Ladybug Crafts Ink through the end of November. So make sure you check out all the adorable stamps she has in her shop and take advantage of this great sale.
I'm entering my card in these challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Sketch
Ellephantastic Challenge 15 - Anything Goes
Ooh La La Challenge 64 - Nothing Floral
The Pink Elephant TPE85 - Childhood
Stamps: Ladybug Crafts Ink - Cheeky Jack; Whimsy - Ticket Sentiments
Paper: Basic Grey - Kioshi
Other: Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, Nestabilities, Buttons, Floss, Hemp, Glaze, Tim Holtz Ticket Strip Die

Just Cute Bears Challenge - Baby Card
Over at Just Cute Bears the challenge is to make a baby card. You have the option of using gingham paper and ribbon. I'm using an image by Elzybells called Baby Teddy.
I decided to make my teddy bear a girl. So, I hope the next time I need a baby card, it's for a girl lol! I colored my cute little teddy with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and used my Nestabilities to cut out and mat my image. I punched out a flower and some leaves for embellishment and added a little tag. I added a bow and a little silver pacifier charm. Isn't that charm just the cutest? I bought a couple of these pacifiers a while back and finally got to use one of them!

Ladybug Crafts Ink Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the Ladybug Crafts Ink Blog Hop. The Blog Hop started at Kerry's blog and you should have arrived here from Gaelle's blog. If not, please go back to Gaelle's blog. If you get lost along the way you can always check back at Kerry's blog to see the order of the hop.
This Blog Hop is to celebrate the release of the new Ladybug Crafts Ink stamps, Cupcake Cuties! Aren't they just the cutest things ever? The DT was given the challenge of using a Cupcake Cutie in any way we chose.
I colored my Cupcake Cutie with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added some glitter and liquid applique to the cupcakes. I think they look so yummy! I had these Doodlebug Design papers in my stash and I think they were perfect for this card. I added some pink Pebbles candy dots in the corners and on my sentiment. I have had these candy dots forever. I'm glad I finally found something to use them on lol! I used two little pieces of floss tied into bows for her hair.
OK, I know you are waiting to find out more about the Blog Hop. There are a total of 8 stamps to be won. Kerry, our Head Ladybug, has decided the first prize will be all 4 of the new Cupcake Cuties, and there will be four runner-up prizes of one stamp each. How awesome is that? So ... what do you have to do to win? It's simple ...
1) Hopefully you already have the Blog Hop Banner on your blog (in a post or your side bar) to promote our hop. If not, hurry up and grap it now! You must display our banner in order to be eligible to win a prize.
2) You must visit each of the DT blogs and leave a comment. You'll also want to collect a letter at each blog. These letters will spell a word. My letter is "S".
3) At the end of the hop, leave a comment on Kerry's blog.
4) Email Lisa at lisa.coe@btinternet.com and tell her what your letters spell.
The Blog Hop starts today, October 5th and ends at midnight (UK time) on Sunday, October 10th. The winners will be announced on Kerry's blog on Tuesday, October 12th.
And, if you don't happen to win stamps from our Blog Hop, you can still be a winner. Kerry is offering 15% off your total order over at Ladybug Crafts Ink through the end of November. You'll need to use the discount code "CB2010" when you place your order.

Happy Halloween!
I hope you're having a beautiful day today. We are definitely having fall weather and right now it's gloomy with a light rain - yuck! This is my first Halloween card of the season. I LOVE Halloween. Halloween is my daughter's birthday. She's grown now but I still love decorating for Halloween. My friend, Dolly, doesn't much like Halloween. So Dolly, you may not want to look at this card lol! I apologize for the picture not being the greatest but since it's dark and dreary, this is the best I could get.
I used Stampavie's "Cat in Pumpkin Costume". I think this cat is so cute. I colored her (I decided it's a she cat) with my prismacolors and gamsol and added a little glaze and stickles. I used my Martha Stewart spiderweb punch and added some buttons and pearls. This paper is from my stash that I've had forever and I have no idea who made it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Some Exciting News!
It's finally Friday. I thought it would never get here. For weeks now I have been keeping a secret and today I finally get to share my news with all of you! Meljen's Designs (one of the hottest new digital stamp lines around) asked ME (yes, me!) to be on their Design Team. How awesome is that?
I love Melissa Jenkin's images. Her images are so cute and if you know me or follow my blog, you know I LOVE cute. So, when I was asked if I wanted to be on their team, I had to say YES! Seven fabulously creative designers have been added to the existing team so the team has doubled in size. Tons of inspiration will be coming your way here on my blog and at the Meljen's Designs Blog, especially on Thursdays where we have a new release and a new challenge each week. Each challenge gives you a chance to win free images, too, so I hope you play along!
Today marks the beginning of a three-day BLOG HOP PARTY to meet the newly expanded team. If you are already HOPPING, you should have come here from Andrea's blog. If you didn't come from Andrea's, check the list below to see the order of the Blog Hop.
This is the card I made to celebrate our Blog Hop. My image, Free Kittens, can be found here. I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. My papers are BoBunny and Bazzill. I added some punched greenery and flowers and used a pearl in the center of my flower. I put some Stickles on the little hearts to give them some sparkle. Thank you for letting me share my exciting news with you.
From here, you should go to Audrey's blog. She's so talented and you're going to love what she created! Be sure to leave some love on each DT member's blog. Then your final stop will be at Meljen's Designs Blog where you'll want to check out the new release and join us in the new challenge. Oh, did I mention that there's a prize at the end? Now, HOP, HOP, HOP!
