Well, I think I'm almost caught up with everything I needed to finish after coming home from vacation. I did manage to finish up a Christmas card this morning. I've been trying to build up a stash of Christmas cards this year so that I don't have to rush to make them at the last minute in December.
I love snowmen. I think they're absolutely adorable! I use to collect snowmen and had one of my spare rooms decorated with my snowmen year-round. When my little grandson came along, I gave away all my snowmen so I could turn that room into a cute little boy's room. Now when he comes to visit or spend the night, he has his own room. Anyway, he's warm and snuggly and that's so much better than a room full of chilly snowmen!
I used my prismacolors and gamsol to color this image. I only shaded the snowman so that didn't leave much else to have to color. It didn't take long to have this image completed. I embossed the background cardstock and used my Scor-Pal to line the small piece of white cardstock. I added some brads, ribbon and a charm, and some glitter on the snow, and this card was done.

Best Wishes
Wow, two posts in one day. That probably won't happen very often but I did want to get this card posted today. I actually made this card before I left for vacation but I ran out of time and didn't have a chance to post it.
I made this card using a Belles 'n Whistles image. I pulled out some of my Memory Box Gossamer paper. I love the small pads of Memory Box paper. The only problem with them is that I have to force myself to use them. Yes, I am a paper hoarder. Love to buy all kinds of pretty paper but then for some insane reason, I'm afraid to use it cause I may run out of it. Yea, right -- I don't know why I'm trying to "save" it.
I colored my image with prismacolors and gamsol and added lots of stickles to the coins and flowers. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border on the side and added some ribbon and a bow. I used another Martha punch for the greenery behind my flowers. I added the greenery, flowers and some pearls and my card was done. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Ladybug Crafts Ink Design Team
I've got some exciting news to share. Kerry, the owner of Ladybug Crafts Ink, recently held a design team call. I couldn't make up my mind about applying because I figured I'd never be chosen. Then right before we left for vacation, I decided to give it a try. While we were vacationing our internet access was horrible. But, I did manage to get logged onto my laptop for a few minutes and saw that Kerry (the Chief Ladybug) had sent me an email inviting me to be part of her design team. Boy was I doing the happy dance that day (my DH thought I was a tad bit crazy but he was happy for me).
Our design team has been nicknamed the "Lovely Ladybugs" -- I love that name! Here's a list of the rest of the team so you can check out their blogs and see for yourself how talented they are.

The Lovely Ladybugs are chatting and getting to know each other. We'll soon be having a little informal challenge with Ladybug Crafts Ink stamps so be sure you check back to see what we've all come up with.
And please stop by the shop Ladybug Crafts Ink to check out everything Kerry has to offer. In addition to embellishments and Swarovski Crystals, she has the most adorable stamps. You'll want to check out Nikki, Ruby, Jack, Robyn, Magnum and Buttercup. They're all so cute -- I want them all lol!
OK, I hope to be back later today with a new card. I'd like to thank those of you that have signed up to be followers. Wow, that makes me feel so happy!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my happy news with me. I hope you stop by later to check out my latest card.

Hello Friend
I made this card using a Hero Arts stamp. It was a very simple and easy card to make. I embossed the front of the card. I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and matted it on a layer of light green cardstock. I added the ribbon and the button and this card was finished. It actually turned out much prettier than I thought it might. Wouldn't this be a nice card to send to a friend to let them know they're in your thoughts? I definitely think this would bring a smile to a friend's face. Thanks for stopping by!

Lazy Summer Day
Doesn't this sweetie look like she's laying there daydreaming on a warm summer day? Just taking it easy with no worries. So relaxed and peaceful. Sounds nice, huh? This image is from CC Designs and it's called Swiss Laying Nora. I've colored her in peach and green using my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I wasn't sure if those were suppose to be angel wings or a bow on her dress LOL! I guess they could be either one but I decided I was going to give her angel wings so I added some Stardust Stickles to make them all sparkly.
I hope you get to spend some time relaxing like this little cutie. Thanks for stopping by!

You're Tea-Rific
This super easy card was made using a clear set from Inky Antics called Teacup Mousies #1. Such a cute set of stamps. I colored my image with prismacolor pencils and gamsol and cut it out with my Nestabilities. The image is pretty simple so it took no time to color. I used an edge punch with ribbon and a button. I've added stickles to the teapot decoration. Two orange brads on the tag and this baby was finished! Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Girl
I made this card using a stamp from My Favorite Things. Their Pure Innocence stamps are so adorable and this one is called My Balloon. This little sweetie was so easy to make. I colored my image with Prismacolors and gamsol. I added some glitter to her balloon and cut her out with my nestabilities. I added a ribbon and a nestabilities tag and she's all done. Here Comes The Bride
Today I'm sharing a card that I made for my LSS, Simply Scrapbooks. They are located in Kettering, Ohio. If you live in or are visiting the area, be sure to stop by and check them out. Vicki (the owner) and all of her staff are the sweetest group of people you could ever meet. They're knowledgeable about the products they sell and they go out of their way to help you find exactly what your're looking for. They can even explain how to use products. Try finding that kind of service in your "big name" craft stores -- not even gonna happen!
This card was made using Magnolia's Bride and Bridesmaid. I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored it with Distress Inks. I love this technique. It gives me a break from my prismacolors and gamsol and I love the soft look you can achieve with the distress inks. I used a lot of glitter on this image. It really sparkles IRL. I used Liquid Pearls on her necklace.

Kraft, Red, and White
Just For Fun Rubber Stamps is having a kraft, red, and white color challenge. I've also been trying to participate in the Splitcoaststampers Christmas Card Challenge, so I decided to make a kraft, red, and white Christmas card. I used JustRite's "A Merry Little Christmas Set" for my sentiment and cut it out with my nestabilities. I stamped red and white snowflakes on my kraft paper and added a little bow. It looked pretty plain so I added the little red flower to the bow. It looks much better with the flower. Jeanie Witmer, The Spotted Chick, is also having a "That's Krafty Thursday" challenge on her blog. So I'm entering my card in her challenge, too. One more Christmas card to add to my stash -- yeah!

Honey Bikini
Today I made a card using a stamp from CC Designs. They have a lot of really cute stamps. This one is called Honey Bikini. Isn't she just the cutest thing in her little aqua bikini and her sunglasses perched on her head? I applied Crystal Lacquer to her sunglasses but I'm not sure if it really shows up in the photo. I also added a little metal sun charm under the bow.

Cute Little Mavis
Yikes! This is my first post on my new blog so bear with me. This is Mavis. She's from Stamping Bella and I think she's adorable. There are several other Mavis images and they're so cute! I've colored her using my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. My paper is Basic Grey Kioshi. I love this paper because it has so many pretty colors in it.
I hope to be back tomorrow with a new card. Thanks for visiting.
